Tell us about your family.

  • My wife, Jennifer, and I just celebrated 43 years of marriage in August. We have three married daughters and nine grandchildren, with a tenth anticipated next March.

Favorite Book of the Bible?

  • Colossians, because of its rich Christology that points to the incomparable authority, power and worth of Christ.

Why should we preach the Minor Prophets?

  • First, because the Minor Prophets are included in God’s Word, we should preach them as part of the “whole counsel of God.” Secondly, people in the pews drastically need more exposure to the Old Testament and, specifically, the Minor Prophets who highlight our desperate need and the Lord’s staggering mercy.
