  • My wife and I have been married for 51 years and we have two children and three grandchildren.

Favorite Book of the Bible?

  • My favorite books of the Bible are First and Second Samuel.

Why should we preach the Minor Prophets?

  • We preach the Minor Prophets because there are a number of great biblical truths that lie hidden in the prophecies of these books. We tend to ignore what we do not immediately grasp and the study of these only enriches us spiritually,  if we engage in this study.

Best book on theology or preaching that you have read in the last year?

  • The best book I read this year was “Luther: Letters of Spiritual Counsel”. It was a different picture of Luther than I had seen just from a reading of history and gave me a more human view than just that of a reformer.
